Importing product information

You can import your product information to the database by using a special formatted file. You can use spreadsheet files from Excel and OpenOffice or comma separated text file. The easiest way to produce such a file is from the Export product information link at the left sidebar.

Accepted file extensions are:

  • XLS
  • XLSX
  • ODS
  • CSV

The file must contain values for the following columns in this order:

'GTIN', 'Description', 'Package level', SKU', 'Brand', 'Sub brand', 'Functional name', 'Variant', 'Net content','Net content UOM', 'Gross weight', 'Net weight', 'Weight UOM', 'Depth', 'Width', 'Height',"Dimensions UOM", 'Package type', 'Consumer', 'Dispatch', 'Variable', 'Invoice','Orderable', 'Country of origin', 'Website URL', 'Enquiries', 'Sub product quantity'

Important!

When importing products that already exist in the database all their fields will be replaced by those imported. Make sure there are correct values for all fields because Null values can replace existing ones.
